Paying with Bitcoin doesn't change the safety properties of the cam site - it changes the properties of the payment. Separating the two is the whole answer.
What crypto changes
- Payment privacy. No statement, no descriptor, no card on file. If a site leaks payment data, there's no card to leak.
- No chargebacks - for better and worse. Scam deposits are impossible; so are refunds. Send the exact amount, to the exact address.
- Fewer declines. Adult MCC codes cause card declines that simply don't exist on the crypto rail.
What crypto does not change
- The stream and the platform. Free public shows, token pricing, private-show mechanics - identical for card and crypto users.
- Account security. Use a unique password and two-factor auth; a cam account with a payment history is worth stealing.
- Scam anatomy. The classic cam scams (fake "send me crypto directly" requests, off-platform deals, "I'll refund you" games) work the same on any rail. Never send crypto directly to a model outside the platform's token system - the tokens exist precisely so that neither side has to trust the other.

The checklist
- Only deposit through the platform's own checkout (the crypto address comes from the payment page, never from a chat message).
- Unique password + 2FA on the cam account.
- Exact amount, fresh address, right network.
- Never buy "tokens" from third-party sellers.
- Assume any "gift me crypto and I'll show you something special" DM is a scam - it always is.
