Buying cam tokens with Bitcoin takes about ten minutes and one fee. The token price is identical to the card price - the only difference is the deposit leg. Here is the whole flow, including the parts the checkout doesn't explain.
1. Free account, no card
Both indexed platforms (Stripchat, CamSoda) only need an email for a viewer account. No card, no name, no age check for token purchases - the 18+ confirmation happens at the payment step, where the processor asks for it if needed.
2. Pick a package, pick crypto
Click the deposit button (+ on Stripchat, "Add tokens" on CamSoda), choose a package, then choose the crypto option. CamSoda's payment FAQ lists "Crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.)" explicitly; Stripchat's help center lists "Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies" among the card-free options.
3. The exchange-rate lock
The checkout shows a fixed amount in BTC (or ETH) and starts a countdown, usually 10-20 minutes. The rate is locked for that window. Send exactly the quoted amount:
- Underpayment lands in processor limbo and can take days to refund or top up.
- Overpayment usually credits the difference as a bonus token round-up on some processors, but don't count on it.
- If the countdown expires, just start over - the quote refreshes at the new rate.
4. Send and wait
Copy the address, send from your wallet, wait. Most deposits credit after 1-2 confirmations (5-20 minutes on Bitcoin under normal load). The platform emails you when tokens arrive; the balance also just appears after a page refresh.

The network fee is per transaction, not per token - so one bigger purchase beats three small ones. Check a fee estimator before sending if the mempool is busy; waiting an hour can halve the fee.
Common mistakes
- Wrong network: an ETH address won't accept BTC and vice versa. ERC-20 USDT to an ETH address is fine; to a Bitcoin address it's gone.
- Old address: processors rotate deposit addresses. Copy the address fresh from the checkout, never from an old email.
- Sending from an exchange with delayed withdrawals - tokens credit fine, but the exchange's own withdrawal queue can add hours.
- Rushing the last confirmations: the room you wanted might end before tokens arrive. Buy tokens before you pick a show, not during.
Privacy notes
